Faculty Profile Form

[Intro]

Purpose:

  • Connect students to their instructors and learning experience
  • Support a sense of community at Medicine Hat College
  • Showcase relevant faculty research

Photo sessions will occur twice yearly (once per Fall and Winter semester) and will be coordinated through School Administrative Assistants via email.

FACULTY BIO

This is an opportunity to share your experience and teaching style with future and current students. Some possible topics to cover include:

  • What makes your teaching practice unique?
  • What lecture topic or activity do you love teaching?
  • What do you like most about teaching at MHC?
  • What can students expect from you in the classroom?
  • Relevant research and achievements
  • Fun fact about yourself or something you love to do when you aren’t teaching

Tips:

  • Write in third person
  • Avoid language that dates content (ex. instead of saying “Joe Smith started teaching at MHC two years ago” use year instead “Joe Smith started teaching at MHC in 2024.”)
