Began teaching at MHC: 2024
I bring a strong clinical background and a passion for nursing education into the classroom. I began my career as an LPN before becoming an RN, and much of my experience has been in acute medical-surgical nursing. I enjoy using real-world clinical examples to help students connect what they are learning in the classroom to the care they will provide in practice.
My teaching style is supportive, and approachable with a focus on creating a comfortable learning environment. Students can expect a safe space where questions are encouraged, mistakes are viewed as opportunities to learn, and everyone is challenged to build their confidence and clinical judgment.
What I enjoy most about MHC is its warm and welcoming atmosphere. MHC is truly student-focused and provides students with the support and opportunities they need to succeed, while also offering many opportunities for continued growth.
I am excited to share my experiences and passion for nursing to inspire and prepare the next generation of nurses.
Outside of teaching and nursing, I enjoy spending time with my family, travelling, and planning our next adventure.
