Started teaching at MHC: 2020

Dayna is passionate about her students and the subject areas she teaches in. In 2025, she was recognized with the Medicine Hat College Instructor of the Year Award. She thrives in facilitating interactive classes where students actively participate in the learning process. To foster meaningful and engaging learning experiences, Dayna intentionally incorporates opportunities for students to apply course concepts to real-life scenarios. In addition to her teaching role, she serves as the Program Coordinator for the Sport and Event Marketing and Management program.

A proud Medicine Hat College graduate, Dayna has always valued the strong sense of community the institution fosters. Now a successful business owner, she eagerly returned to the college post-industry to impart her business skills to her students. Leveraging her wealth of experience, she enriches her teachings with industry examples to enhance students' understanding of the course content. 

Dayna lives on a ranch with her husband and their three children.
