BIOGRAPHY
Landon Redelbach is a Philosophy instructor at Medicine Hat College, where his own academic journey first began as a student. He later completed a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and German at the University of Alberta and a Master of Arts in Philosophy, Politics, and Economics (PPE) at CEVRO Univerzita, Institute of Political Studies, in Prague, specializing in Austrian Economics. His academic experiences have taken him abroad, including studies in Germany and the Czech Republic. His academic interests and past research have spanned political philosophy, Indigenous justice, international relations, and Austrian economic thought.
Landon enjoys teaching moral philosophy, where students have the opportunity to explore different philosophical thinkers and perspectives on questions that remain relevant to everyday life. In the classroom, he aims to make philosophy approachable and engaging by encouraging discussion and critical thinking. He enjoys seeing students develop their own arguments and discover that philosophy is not simply about finding the right answer, but about learning how to think carefully about difficult questions.
Having started his own post-secondary education at Medicine Hat College, Landon particularly values the opportunity to now teach and work with students at the institution where his academic journey began.
