Building Design II

This is an intermediate course, covering the technology, terminology, building practices and drafting standards for residential building design and construction. Topics include Part 9 of the Alberta Building Code, Municipal Land Use Bylaw, and wood-frame building construction. Students will use Autodesk Revit 3D modeling software to create industry standard drawings for single detached residential permit applications and building construction.
