The Discipline and Profession of Nursing lV: Understanding the Challenges of Leadership and Systems of Care

This course explores knowledge related to the current health care
system, systems of care responsive to the needs of clients with chronic
health disruptions, and nursing roles of leadership and delegation.
Evidence examining the efficacy of systems of care and the efficacy
of nursing roles, practices, and contributions are highlighted. Examination
of selected approaches to nursing research. Third and Fourth
Years of the Nursing program are University of Calgary courses. The
numbering system is based upon the guidelines of this institution. You
must register through the University of Calgary - fees are charged by
the University of Calgary.
