Integrating Nursing Roles and Practices V: Learning, Praxis and Scholarship in the Practicum Setting
This focused clinical experience, supported by two corequisite
substantive nursing option theory courses, is aimed at refining critical
thinking and competent use of theoretic frameworks and evidence
to support clinical reasoning processes including: comprehensive
assessment, holistic analysis and interpretation of client data, and
competence and confidence in clinical decision-making. Students will
choose a focused area of nursing practice. Third and Fourth Years of
the Nursing program are University of Calgary courses. The numbering
system is based upon the guidelines of this institution. You must
register through the University of Calgary - fees are charged by the
University of Calgary.
- Prerequisites: NURS 495 & NURS 497 & NURS 498 & NURS 499
