Basics for the Speech Language Pathologist
Introduction to the basic skills required by a Speech-Language Pathologist Assistant (SLPA) to function effectively in the workplace. Topics include goal-based intervention, creating a treatment session, early language stimulation techniques, documentation, and the roles and responsibilities of SLPAs.
- Prerequisite: A minimum of a C grade in KNES 265 or LING 2XX & TAPC 111 & TAPC 112 & TAPC 113
