An Introduction to Invertebrate Zoology

This course provides a structural, functional, and phylogenic survey of protest and metazoan invertebrate phyla that comprise a majority of all animals with an emphasis on the lophotrochozoan and ecdysozoan protostomes and the deuterstomes. Laboratories emphasis the functional morphology of major phyla occurring in Canada’s streams, lakes and oceans, including insect and parasite representatives.
