Medicine Hat College's Bookstore invites applications for a casual Shipper/Receiver.
A little about the role:
We’re looking for a dedicated and growth-minded team member to join us as a Shipper/Receiver at the college bookstore. In this expanded role, you’ll work closely with the Bookstore Manager to support the full operational flow of the store. Beyond shipping and receiving, you’ll take on increased responsibility in inventory coordination, workflow organization, and backup support for both the cashier team and the mail/copy room.
We’re seeking someone who not only thrives in a fast-paced environment but is also eager to learn, contribute ideas, and take ownership of processes. Your strong organizational skills and attention to detail will help keep our shelves stocked, our systems accurate, and our customers well served. This position is ideal for someone who wants to grow their skills, support a dynamic retail environment, and play an active role in enhancing the student and campus experience.
Details:
- Grade XII
- Office Technology Certificate OR an equivalent combination of related education and work experience
- 2 years retail and/or warehouse receiving/pricing
Term of Appointment: ASAP to December 18, 2026
Hours: Casual up to 30 hours per week, as needed and as scheduled
Wage Rate: $22.20 per hour (Start Rate); $25.00 per hour (Job Rate)
