Medicine Hat College’s Yuill School of Health & Community Services is seeking a full-time Student Placement Officer to join our team.
A little about the role:
Reporting to the Dean of the Yuill School of Health & Community Services. The Student Placement Officer plays a key role in supporting student success by coordinating practicum, clinical, and preceptorship placements across the School of Health & Community Services. Acting as a liaison between the College and external partners, the incumbent builds and maintains strong relationships with healthcare providers, community agencies, and industry stakeholders to facilitate meaningful experiential learning opportunities and ensure compliance with program and regulatory requirements.
Details:
• An undergraduate University Degree in a related field OR an equivalent combination of related post-secondary education and work experience.
• 1 – 2 years’ experience in a related field.
• Interpersonal and communication skills to advise students and provide information.
• Ability to build and maintain collaborative partnerships.
• Knowledge of post-secondary system specifically in Work Integrated Learning.
• Valid driver’s license.
Salary: $65,543
