(Student Services Assistant III) Medicine Hat College invites applications for a temporary, full-time International Student Assistant for a leave replacement in our International Education department.
A little about the role:
The primary responsibility for this position is to provide international students with specialized services, including onboarding, New International Student Orientation, general advising and referrals, information sessions, health insurance, and accommodation referrals. This position also organizes and leads social and cultural activities specifically for international students.
Details:
- 2 year post-secondary diploma in a related field OR an equivalent combination of related work experience and education
- At least 2 years’ experience in an office environment with intermediate to advanced skill level with MS Office software and database systems
- Experience working with diverse populations
- Experience with Student Information Systems is an asset
- Valid driver’s license and clean drivers abstract required
Term of Appointment: ASAP to March 31, 2027
Hours: 35 hours per week
Wage Rate: $27.16 per hour (Start Rate); $30.70 per hour (Job Rate)
