The Centre for Innovation (C4I) at Medicine Hat College (MHC) is excited to offer a Student Research Assistant position focused on drone data analysis and agricultural engagement. We invite current Medicine Hat College students with a passion for agricultural research, innovation, and science communication to apply.
A little about the role:
- Assist with drone data analysis for agriculture-related research projects
- Conduct literature reviews to support knowledge mobilization and future project planning
- Create content that communicates research insights and presents options to stakeholders, helping inform future project planning and grant development
This position offers a unique opportunity to contribute to applied research while building skills in data analysis, science communication, and stakeholder engagement.
Details:
- A strong interest in agriculture, sustainability, and innovation
- Excellent research and communication skills
- Experience or interest in drone technology, GIS, or data visualization
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively
- A background or strong interest in Communications, Environmental Sciences, Agriculture, or Sustainable Innovation
- A background in agriculture or drone data analysis would be considered a strong asset
Hours of Work: 10 hours per week
Wage Rate: $20.00 per hour
