Medicine Hat College invites internal applications for an Athletic Events Supervisor in our Athletics and Recreation department.
A little about the role:
Reporting to the Manager, Athletics and Recreation, this position is responsible for Rattlers event management, sponsorship, marketing, promotions, media relations, and athletic alumni relations for all Rattler Athletic events.
The Athletic Events Supervisor provides oversight to the promotion of game day operations and events, including scheduling & hiring event staff and minor officials. Coordinating emergency evacuations, first aid needs, security issues, and inspecting play areas and equipment will be on-going duties.
Details:
- Bachelor’s degree in Sport Administration, Marketing, or a related field; preferred
- Two years’ experience in a recreation or athletic environment; required
- Equivalent combination of education and experience will be considered
- First aid certification and CPR training is required
- Demonstrated time management and organization skills
Pay Rate: $30.82 (Start Rate); $34.30 (Job Rate)
Hours of Work: Up to 35 hours per week; evening & weekend work required
