Medicine Hat College’s Student Supports is welcoming applications for a full-time Academic Advisor. This is a full-time, term specific leave replacement with an anticipated end date of September 5, 2025.
A little about the role:
The Academic Advisor works directly with students to help them achieve their educational goals. Reporting to the Director, Student Supports, the primary areas of responsibility for the Academic Advisor is to provide professional guidance and accurate information to current and prospective students regarding program and course selection, admission requirements, transferability of courses, policies and procedures, act as agents of referral for student support services, and plan and implement individual student education plans. This position also participates with recruiting, marketing, and promoting the College when required by attending recruitment fairs or functions.
