Rehabilitation Process

This course provides a continuation of the introduction to client care practices and processes in rehabilitation. Fundamental knowledge and skills, including monitoring client health, ethics, dis-ability awareness, helping relationships, challenging behaviors, teaching fundamentals, body mechanics, positioning and draping, client instruction, group work, and administrative activities, prepare the occupational therapist assistant/physical therapist assistant and speech-language pathologist assistant for the clinical role.

  • Prerequisite: A minimum of a C grade in IDST 100 & KNES 261 & TAPC 110 
  • Hours: 70 (3-2)
