Session Description
CITE Teaching Series provides meaningful insights on popular educational practices and supports teaching excellence at Medicine Hat College. In this session, we'll explore why rubrics matter, how they support transparency and consistency in assessment, and how they can improve student outcomes. You'll learn how to create effective rubrics with the help of Copilot, and how to attach and use them within Blackboard Ultra assignments.
By the end of this session, participants will be able to:
• Understand the value of rubrics in promoting clarity and fairness
• Learn how to use Copilot to brainstorm and build custom rubrics
• Discover how to attach rubrics to assignments and use them in Blackboard Ultra
