Course

Children's Well-Being

Students will begin to understand practices that emphasize mental health, basic hygiene, illness prevention, and physical health while nurturing childrens dispositions to learn. They will also learn to identify and mitigate hazards in a childs environment, be prepared for emergencies, and foster a safe and responsive learning environment. This course also encourages educators to engage as co-learners and co-researchers, reflecting on their practices and making intentional decisions that foster children's positive well-being.
