Child Guidance
This course focuses on nurturing and responsive child guidance. Students will learn about the importance of building relationships and establishing trust prior to guiding behavior. The focus will also be on understanding that children�s behaviour is a form of communication. Positive, universal guidance techniques will be introduced and practiced. Students will also have the opportunity to reflect on these techniques to improve their practice as an early childhood educator.
