Nursing as Ethical Practice
An introduction to foundational theory for nursing practice.
Focus on health law and ethics, the code of ethics for registered
nurses, principles of and practices associated with
patient advocacy. Third and Fourth Years of the Nursing program
are University of Calgary courses. The numbering system
is based upon the guidelines of this institution. You must
register through the University of Calgary – fees are charged
by the University of Calgary.
- Prerequisite: NRSG 401, NRSG 430, NRSG 450, NRSG 530
- Corequisite(s): NRSG 531; AND NRSG 420, NRSG 421, NRSG 550,
NRSG 551, OR NRSG 520, NRSG 521, NRSG 552, NRSG 553, dependent
on clinical placement. - Hours: 36 hours (3-0) 12 weeks
