Final Preceptorship Practicum

Preparation for entry to practice through supporting consolidation,
integration, and application of students’ nursing
knowledge, skills, and attributes. Opportunity to refine and
enact complex communication and relationship building skills,
high-level assessment and clinical reasoning, nursing care
planning, implementation, and evaluation. Graded on a CR
(Pass)/NC (Fail) basis. Third and Fourth Years of the Nursing
program are University of Calgary courses. The numbering
system is based upon the guidelines of this institution. You
must register through the University of Calgary – fees are
charged by the University of Calgary.
